Thanks to the Earthquake Force Organized System Meteorology DEKOS Network, it is possible to receive real-time earthquake alerts on your smartphone. DEKOS Network, the foundations of which were laid in 1999, is a citizen science project that implements an Earthquake Early Warning system based on the movements and shapes of ants living underground and clouds in the sky.
More than 20 years of work has been devoted to the DEKOS Network project, and as a result of the investments made by personal and supporters, a laboratory containing Earthquake Knows Instruments has been established. Under the brand class of Earthquake Prediction Services, the patent right of Sütçü Bulutları was obtained on 30/12/2019. More than one hundred thousand people participated in this project and sent more than 5000 real-time earthquake alerts to DEKOS Network members. In many seismic countries, the DEKOS Network is the only publicly available warning system. To be a part of the DEKOS Network and receive alerts, please install the DEKOS Network application.
The idea was born based on the relationship between the unusual behavior of ants before the earthquake and the mobility of the clouds in the sky. The DEKOS Network project aims to predict earthquakes by evaluating the Earthquake Science Instruments with accelerometer out of 100, NIGHT and DAY. When an earthquake is detected, an alert is sent to all smartphones. If you are not too close to the epicenter, you can get the warning in advance and protect yourself before the damaging waves of the earthquake reach you.
