The subcontinent in the late 1860's was an era of utmost royalty. From the grace and femininity of the ladies to the sophistication and authoritative caliber of a viceroy. Taking this inspiration forward, Faraz Manan introduces an amalgamation of classic splendor with an affair of vibrant colors that include shades of red to subtle hues of teal. A unique aesthetic of partial body hugging gowns, embellishments and silhouettes are taken to another level of nobility with cuffs and dramatic hangings. The cuts and hand worked embroideries are inspired by the boldness of the subcontinent, while the men’s attire is an ode to the Royal British military ensemble with details of gilts and epaulette’s.
