RADIO GARDELIANDO

Gardeliando is a community communication experience that was born in the Carlos Gardel and Pte Sarmiento neighborhoods, in 2018. It emerged in a workshop space. In 2019 we carried out a weekly radio program on community radio FM Fribuay 90.7, located in the Haedo neighborhood. This program aimed to recover our stories and experiences. Our voices. As well as making visible the work carried out by social organizations, neighborhood referents and state workers who live and pass through the neighborhood. Starting with Gardeliando, ties were built and rebuilt between us with the different actors in the territory. And mainly, we managed to convey the human right to communication. At the end of 2019, Gardeliando became an autonomous and independent community communication experience in the territory. An experience that is born with the clear desire to communicate what we feel, what we think, what we want and with the intention of breaking the imposed silences. We come from here, this is our journey, but we are also interested in telling you where we are going or where we want to go. In 2020, we managed to continue walking our sound journey and thanks to the predisposition of UGC Nº 12, we are building a radio and a recording studio in our neighborhood. A community, Gardelean and Latin American sonic hybrid. A space where to be, to be and to go with others.
