Craniosynostosis is a condition in which the affects a child's head growth and brain development from the time they are born. The condition can only be corrected through surgery. There is no know cause or way to prevent this condition. As a parent who has a child who went through this condition, I want to make a difference and help fight this condition any way possible. Making this application is my way of fighting this.

Application Features:

-Simple for children to use
Learning Spelling Bee Activity, is purposely a very simple application with one purpose - Teaching you child how to spell. There are no complicated menus to navigate. You simply launch the app and it immediately starts.

-No Adds, pop ups or distractions, its all about your child.
When you launch the app all of the alphabet letters are on one page. This is key when learning the alphabet and using letter to form words. After all, imagine a computer keyboard that did not have all the alphabet keys in one place.

-Easy learning with immersive audio, colours, and visuals.
The app use all the senses to teach a child how to spell - Audio, visuals, and colours. The app features a narrative voice, which will guide you though the experience. When you launch the app, an image of the word that you will learn to spell will be displayed in the middle of the screen. The voice will tell you the letters needed to spell the word and change the colours of the letters on the screen at the same time. Associating colour changes of the letter with the sound of a letter is a quick an easy way for your child to learn how to recognise letters and how to spell words with them.

-Suitable for the youngest age
The app is suitable for all ages and is designed to teach children to spell at a young age. Even if your child cannot spell at their current age, the app is designed to teach them individual letters so that they develop their ability to spell. By pressing the centre screen of the app, the entire alphabet will be recited, associating each letter sound with the colour change of the letter. Also, each individual letter on the screen can be pressed at any time. When doing so, a voice will recite the name of the letter.

-26 words to learn to spell.
This app features 26 words to learn to spell. Each one starting with each letter of the alphabet. Each word has an image associated that will be displayed at the centre of the screen. Therefore, not only is your child learning how to spell the word, but they are also learning to associate the image of the word to the spelling. The words and images used are taken from everyday objects so that you child will learn to spelling of essential items.
