"HC And - Kidney Children" has been developed in a collaboration between H.C. Andersen Børne- og Ungehospital, Odense Universitetshospital, hospitalized children and their families and 10:30 Visual Communication.

HC And is patient information for children aged 4-7 years and aims to prepare and reduce insecurity in children for whom many hospital concepts are completely unknown.

"HC Duck - Kidney Children" is an introduction to a general patient course for the youngest children, their family and circle of friends. The information is with speak - of a child voice - and animation in the genre "Learning through play with tablet / mobile phone / touch screen".

Children in this age group learn and recognize through play and concrete information. Inpatients can quickly become "filled up" with a lot of information. Therefore, HC Duck is made up of short sequences in child height, so "new" can start here.
