Hockey Box

A lot of people born in the USSR remember this game from their childhood. It was a transparent plastic box with a metal ball rolling inside the box on the painted ice-hockey rink with holes. This simple game was absolutely captivating and helped to develop memory and imagination. The gameplay used to be unpretentious but there were lots of ways for players to show creativity by inventing their own rules. For example the ball could be considered as a puck and in case it fell into the holes on the field it could be considered as a puck taken away by the opposing hockey team.

Summarily player is supposed to score a goal into the gate and not to let the ball fall into the holes on the field. While implementing the idea into computer game we tried to recreate special atmosphere of the retro game from our childhood and decided not to add redundant options and limitation like scoring etc.

Our game has some features different from the original game. Some may say these differences are appropriate and some may disagree. We were inspired by the original and didn't aim to recreate the exact copy.
