Mozart & Artificial Intelligence - what does it look like?
Can musical creativity and genius be combined with predictable, unemotional algorithms? In four projects we show what that can look like.
- How does music sound that is inspired by the flocking behavior of birds? Experiment with the Boids composing tool.
- What makes Mozart so unique? Will an AI find the "Mozart genome"? And can artificial intelligence determine the author of a piece based on a short sequence?
- How similar are works by Mozart and Wagner? People would say, "Not similar." But an AI? With the "Mozart Jukebox" you can find out how a computer interprets music.
