Swabhiman - Shodh Astitvacha (Self Respect - Search For Existence) is an Indian Marathi television drama which is aired on Star Pravah. It is produced by Hemant Ruprell and Ranjeet Thakur under the banner of Frames Production. It is an official remake of Bengali TV series Mohor.
Pallavi is an undergraduate student, who aspires to be a teacher. When her father forces her to get married, Pallavi embarks upon an extraordinary journey to pursue her dreams. Her mother helps her to run away from the house and to complete her dreams. Pallavi fights against in the college with professor to get admission in that college, but she didn't get admission whereas Shantanu belongs to an affluent family in Pune. He is a modern-day misogynist and believes that women should be restricted from studying and working.
