The Assembly of God in Madureira was founded on November 15, 1929, by Paulo Leivas Macalão and which, on May 2, 1958, served as the basis for the national structuring of the Ministry he chaired until his death, at the end of 1982.

Following the example of missionary Gunnar Vingren, who from the beginning valued the female ministry, consecrating the first deaconess of the Assemblies of God, Emília Costa, the Ministry of Madureira ordains women for the functions of deaconess, evangelist, missionary, pastor and bishop.

AD Madureira started implementing the work in Maravilha, in September 2019, by sending Pastor Roberto Massarelli, and his wife to Pra. Josy Massarelli. Today the work is under the leadership of Pastor President Hildeberto Paixão with headquarters in the city of Lages / SC.

With a body of workers, Department of praise, Department of intercession, Department of visits and social, we are here in Maravilha to bring “The Good News“.
