The Ceed is manufactured at Kia's Zilina, Slovakia manufacturing plant, along with Sportage and Venga models. Constructed on the K2 platform from Kia, the third-generation Ceed is 20 millimeters wider (1,800 mm) and 23 millimeters lower (1,447 mm) than the first edition.
