SHULENI makes it possible to pay school fees online by mobile money with validation by SMS, allows communication and emergency alerts between education actors by SMS. In addition to these features SHULENI allows users to:
1. Centralization of data on schools and universities: By means of a simple technology accessible to all, because SHULENI having an embedded web server, allows establishments to register pupils with or without connection from the computer. The data being present in the phone's memory is then synchronized with the central server shared with the author.
2. SHULENI automatically generates student and teacher cards thus avoiding duplication of actors, on the card a QR code is printed with inviolable information which remains a secure means of verifying the authenticity of a card .
3. The student card to be printed according to the needs and means of the school itself is in PVC bank card format. Its digital format is sold to the school for 500 CDF, while it can apply a certain amount of choice that cannot exceed the maximum required by the authority.
4. The professional card and the student card are given at the beginning of each school or academic year. On them by means of the QR code are recorded all the data of the teacher or pupil verifiable via the server by his QR code. This prevents any form of cheating.
5. The establishment when registering on the system gives itself the advantage of being on a yellow page allowing parents to register their children according to the geolocation of the school. While on the other side this simple operation allows the authority to have precision on the physical location of all the schools in the country.
6. The school by registering the pupils and granting the cards also allows the authority to have the real statistics according to gender, level and educational zone.
7. SHULENI allows a centralization at a school level of the points ratings for students, calculates the percentages and automatically publishes rankings secured by a QR code. Which records can be sold on commission by the school. Additional motivation for schools to use the app.
8. SHULENI has a module for the preparation of future students for State Examinations by digitizing previous questionnaires in the form of games on the phone.
10. SHULENI provides Easy Access to Minutes of deliberations published by colleges and universities for archiving via our web platform; the minutes and/or prize list of the ESU cost 1,500 CDF to download, this file is also accessible to the parent.
11. SHULENI allows Access to the Rankings of school results published by schools, thus allowing the fight against school vagrancy, lies told to parents; the file of the prize list secured by the QR code returning to verification by scanner for a single student.
12. SHULENI allows Publications by former students of their graduation work for the benefit of their cadets in the form of a digital library; This is a digital library where even teachers can publish course materials, essays, articles... The electronic book costs 5,000 CDF when downloaded. Of which 60% for SHULENI and 40% for the author.
14. SHULENI offers parents and students access to yellow pages of schools and universities with their geolocation for online registration. These online registrations also aim to bank payment via mobile money.
15. SHULENI support the government in its desire for banking. We propose to incorporate into their system the payment of fees via the SHULENI application through mobile money services using SMS.
