Pirate's Tic Tac Toe

Pirate’s Tic Tac Toe is a variant of Tic Tac Toe that pirates used to play on ship to pass their time at sea, I think? Maybe?

In this version the goal is the same – place 3 of your pieces in a row- vertically, horizontally or diagonally on the 3x3 tiled board, but this version has a twist-
At the start of the game each player chooses a secret tile to flip, and if a piece is placed on that tile it flips to be the other player’s piece.
If both players chose the same tile to flip, a piece placed on that tile flips twice, making it the same as it was originally. This is also known as a DOUBLE FLIP.
But beware! Your chosen tile also affects you- if you place a piece on the tile you chose to flip, it flips to be the other player’s piece.

This addition to normal Tic Tac Toe rules makes the game that much more exciting, suspenseful and fun than normal Tic Tac Toe, which is why pirates used to play it all the time.
