This area located at inner terai region of the country has fertile soil and suitable climate for farming and has high potential for commercial agriculture. As the country is exercising federal republic system, the responsibility of agriculture extension is vested to local governments i.e., municipalities and rural-palities. In such a context, Belaka Municipality is providing agriculture extension services and technical support to farmers, agri. entrepreneur, cooperatives after entering of elected body in the Palika.
