CMusic - player and visualizer

CMusic is an application that integrates a music player, a preamp with an effects unit and an equalizer, and a color-based visualization system.

CMusic is your ability to hear and see music. For visualization, the most correct classical approach is used, built on the methods of analyzing an audio signal in various frequency channels.

This is a real transformation of sounds into colors!

Another important and unique feature of the application is the ability to save and then automatically load all sound and visualization settings for each song, each album and each artist.

If your device provides a screen mirroring connection to a TV or projector, then you can throw a party or decorate any event with your own color music show. Don't forget to connect external speakers!

Application features

Working with files and lists:
- playback of audio recordings from smartphone memory and SD-card,
- playback of any types of files supported by the device,
- automatic scanning of audio files at startup,
- quick search by artist name, album name, song name, folder name and file name,
- search filtering of the list - setting and removing a filter for quick formation of a playlist,
- sorting the list back and forth by artist name, album name, song name, folder name and file name,
- arbitrary order of songs in the list (shuffle),
- automatic counting of the number of songs and the total playing time.

Working of the settings system:
- storing, editing and automatically loading settings for songs, albums and artists,
- automatic memorization of the composition and saving the current settings when exiting the application,
- automatic loading of the composition and settings when the application is restarted,
- support for cascading settings - first, the presence of saved settings for the song is checked, then for the album, then for the artist; the settings that will be found first are used (if there are no saved settings, then the current settings from the previous song are used),
- support for storing, editing and using two sets of settings - one for headphones and a smartphone screen and the other for a large screen and an external speaker system,
- the ability to set and cancel automatic saving and automatic loading of settings, overwrite settings in the application database and use cascading settings - both for the current work with the application and in the form of saved options for permanent use,
- the ability to play audio on Lock Screen.

Sound settings:
- preamp / volume control,
- adjustment of the stereo base (virtualization),
- bass adjustment (boost),
- reverb adjustment or preset selection,
- adaptive equalizer - from 5 to 20 channels (the number of channels depends on the capabilities of a particular device),
- from 10 to 20 equalizer presets (also device dependent).

Visualization settings:
- palette selection,
- selection of the mobility mode of light sources for a color scene,
- selection of the frequency range for the lead channel,
- selection of a background for the scene,
- adjusting the transparency of light sources,
- adjusting the transparency of the background,
- selection of the number of color channels (scene),
- adjustment of signal levels (general, lead-channel and separate color channels) using a color equalizer.

Playback control:
- standard buttons - Play / Pause, Previous record, Next record, button to call the current list of songs,
- button for calling a window with information about the saved and in use settings and the cover of the composition,
- button for switching to full screen mode,
- return from full-screen mode by clicking on the screen and the return button.

Tip. Operate the application in a vertical position of the device, watch the visualization in a horizontal position.
