KBLI 2020 - Menentukan KBLI 5

KBLI is a reference classification used to classify Indonesian economic activities / activities into several business fields / business fields, which are differentiated based on the type of economic activity that produces products / outputs in the form of goods and services.

KBLI was prepared by BPS with reference to the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Rev.4 by the United Nations of Statistical Division (UNSD), the United Nations statistics division agency (https://unstats.un.org/home /) up to 4 digits and developed in detail up to 5 digits for typical Indonesian economic activities. The first two digits of the KBLI indicate the main group of business sectors - for example, 10 is the food industry, then breaks down into more specific business branches to become a 3 to 5 digit KBLI. This standard applies globally, so knowing the KBLI category can actually make it easier for us to interact with the international business community, make comparisons between data at the national level with other countries and communicate information with institutions at home and abroad.

The OSS institution uses the 2017 KBLI which relies on the Regulation of the Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics Number 19 of 2017 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Head of the Central Statistics Agency Number 95 of 2015 concerning the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields ("Regulation of the Head of BPS 19/2017") by using the code number 5 digit. In early October 2020, the government through the Central Statistics Agency has released the 2020 KBLI which is a revision of the 2017 KBLI with changes and the addition of a new 5-digit KBLI code.
