H. Rano Karno, S.I.P (born October 8, 1960) is an Indonesian actor, singer, politician and director of Javanese and Minangkabau descent, West Sumatra. He is the son of Indonesian actor Soekarno M. Noer as well as the younger brother of Indonesian actor Tino Karno and older brother of Indonesian actor Suti Karno. Currently, he is a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle Faction who has served since October 1, 2019.

Prior to serving as governor, he served as Acting Governor of Banten from 13 May 2014 to 12 August 2015 replacing Ratu Atut Chosiyah who was disabled due to the election bribery case in the Constitutional Court. He became famous in the 1970s and 1980s as an actor through a number of films such as Rio Anakku, Gita Cinta from SMA, and Taxi, and as Doel in the soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolahan in the 1990s. Apart from being an actor, Rano Karno is also known as a singer and director.

His father is a veteran actor, Soekarno M. Noer. In addition, he also has siblings who also played in films such as Tino Karno and Suti Karno. He was once discussed as a companion to Fauzi Bowo as deputy governor in the 2007 Jakarta gubernatorial election. On March 22, 2008, he was officially inaugurated as Deputy Regent of Tangerang for the period 2008-2013. However, on December 19, 2011, he resigned from his position as Deputy Regent of Tangerang, because he was elected as Deputy Governor of Banten accompanying Ratu Atut Chosiyah for the 2012-2017 period.
