O menino tinha medo do escuro

This project is an appeal to the creation of books, applications and games in alternative formats, being an example of how an inclusive product allows "opening" to new readers, new users and new players.

This work intends to touch the playful and the didactic simultaneously, with accessible contents, becoming an essential inclusive instrument to develop reading, entertainment and fun activities.

The main objective is to make the use of products (physical and digital) more accessible, and to enable the right to inclusion that people have.

Book is recommended by the National Reading Plan prepared by the Ministry of Education in Portugal.


Characteristics

- Totally free and without any advertising.

- Available in Portuguese.

- Audiovisual resources (images, sounds, videos, among others).

- Offers three modes for reading and interpreting the story:
* Text, Illustration and Narration.
* Text, SPC System (Pictographic Symbols for Communication) and conversion of pictographic symbols to voice.
* Portuguese Sign Language.

- Offers four games:
* Memory, with 6 levels of difficulty.
* Free painting or with geometric shapes.
* Jigsaw / Puzzle
* To write

Project - “The boy who was afraid of the dark”:

- Includes the conventional book with the text, illustration and SPC System (Pictographic Communication Symbols), available for sale in some bookstores or directly with us.

- Includes the book in Braille, including drawings in relief.

- Includes the video with the Portuguese Sign Language.

- Includes Eduardo's dolls (main character in the story).
