Detective Poiroid

Detective Poiroid is an anti-spyware and anti-hacker tool, which lets you know about harmful or potentially dangerous applications in your phone or tablet. It is able to detect all the installed 3rd party applications (on top of the Operating System) whether from the app markets or by your spouse or anyone else without your consent and even hidden from your application launch menu. Poiroid investigates the behavior of those apps and gives you a concise report about the threats found.

A harmful application may also masquerade itself under a useful one (i.e. games, converters, organizers and etc) which has access to hardware resources and your personal sensitive data. It is recommended to run Poiroid and investigate your system after each new application installation or upgrades of older ones, as well as after your system and OS upgrades.

Poiroid uses a heuristic analysis approach to detect dangerous and harmful apps. In order to keep the heuristic algorithms up to date, please make sure you have the latest version of Detective Poiroid installed.
