SmartEd Africa : e-Learning

SmartEd Africa is an online teaching and learning mobile application that offers a modern way to support the learning process.

SmartEd Africa uses artificial intelligence to:
- provide support to pupils in difficulty,
- help manage the individual rhythms of learners,
- promote learner-learner, learner-teacher and learner-parent interactions,
- facilitate learning and improve school performance.

SmartEd Africa offers an innovative pedagogical approach allowing students to better assimilate their lessons through:
• well-structured course sheets,
• standard exercises with answers that accompany the course sheets,
• self-correcting quizzes
• tests and corrected evaluations offered in high schools and colleges in Cameroon,
• corrected annals of old exams (BEPC - Probatory - Baccalaureate),
• discussion forums by subject and by chapter where learners can intervene anonymously.

Even more, the application has:
• a gamification system to reward each learner after the completion of a course, a quiz or for any participation in the forum,
• an averaging module to simulate its performance before or after the assessments,
• an information blog where practical advice, the school year calendar, the exam calendar and other useful information are posted.

To compensate for the low availability of the internet connection and the associated high costs, all the content of the application (courses, quizzes, tests, annals) can be downloaded so that it is accessible even without an internet connection!

The SmartEd Africa learning platform is a vast project that offers the opportunity to all African countries to bring education closer to a greater number of learners.
