Hadits ~ Sunan Ad-Darimi

SEBAGAI sumber utama ajaran Islam setelah Alquran, Hadits memiliki urgensi yang sangat tinggi.
Di samping juga sebagai penjelas Alquran, hadits mempunyai otoritas yang kuat dalam menentukan arah ajaran Islam baik dari segi hukum, akidah, dan akhlaknya.

Hadits adalah segala sesuatu yang disandarkan pada Nabi Muhammad shallallahu alaihi wa sallam baik ucapan, tindakan, persetujuan dan sifat.

Nama lengkapnya adalah Abdullah bin Abdirrahman bin Al Fadhl At Tamimi Ad Darimi As Samarqandhi rahimahullah.

At Tamimi adalah nisbah kepada nama sebuah kabilah, yaitu kabilah bani Tamim yang merupakan salah satu kabilah terbesar di kalangan Arab. Adapun Ad Darimi adalah nisbah kepada Darim bin Malik bin Hanzalah bin Zaid Manat bin Tamim. Dengan nisbah yang kedua inilah beliau lebih akrab dikenal oleh kaum muslimin.
Telah dimaklumi oleh para ulama di zamannya bahwa beliau sangat menonjol dalam hafalan. Hingga Muhammad bin Abdillah bin Numair berkata, “Abdullah bin Abdurrahman mampu mengalahkan kami dengan hafalan dan sikap wara’nya.”

Beliau pun menjadi imam dan ulamanya penduduk wilayahnya saat itu. Berbagai pujian dan sanjungan mengalir kepada beliau bak air bah, dan sekarang kondisinya berbalik 180 derajat.

Jikalau dulu beliau yang berthawaf, mengelilingi belahan dunia. Sekarang beliau yang dicari para ulama untuk meriwayatkan hadis. Para penuntut ilmu berbondong-bondong untuk menimba ilmu secara langsung dari beliau.

Coba pembaca perhatikan nama-nama besar berikut ini yang pernah menjadi murid beliau seperti Imam Muslim, Abu Dawud, At Tirmidzi, Abd bin Humaid, Raja’ bin Murajja, Al Hasan bin Ash Shabbah, Muhammad bin Basyar Bundar. Yang istimewa ada sebagian di antaranya adalah ulama yang lebih senior dan lebih berumur daripada beliau.

His full name is Abdullah bin Abdirrahman bin Al Fadl At Tamimi Ad Darimi As Samarqandhi rahimahullah.

At Tamimi is the ratio to the name of a tribe, namely the Bani Tamim tribe which is one of the largest tribes in Arab circles. As for Ad Darimi is the ratio to Darim bin Malik bin Hanzalah bin Zaid Manat bin Tamim. With this second ratio, he is more familiarly known by the Muslims.
It was understood by the scholars of his time that he was very prominent in memorizing. Until Muhammad bin Abdillah bin Numair said, "Abdullah bin Abdurrahman was able to beat us with his memorization and wara'nya attitude."

He also became the imam and ulama resident of the area at that time. Various praise and flattery flowed to him like a flood, and now his condition has turned 180 degrees.
