Min Valgdagbog

About the project:

In this project, we examine the upcoming election campaign as it appears from the voters' perspective.

There are many election campaign surveys that deal with how the election campaign takes place, but there are few that let the voters themselves have their say. In the Min Valgdagbog project, we would like to present the voters' own experiences.

In Min Valgdagbog, voters can write about what they think about the election campaign, its events and actors in the run-up to the general election: What thoughts do they have, what news do they follow, and which politicians do they think are doing well or poorly? The voters themselves decide what they want to write about.

Voters will also be asked to answer some questions about politics, the election campaign and the media.

Personal data security and consent:
The project is carried out by researchers at Aalborg University (AAU) in Denmark and the Institute for Social Research (ISF) in Norway.
Collected data is stored in Services for Sensitive Data (TSD) at the University of Oslo. To write in Min Valgdagbog, the participants must first give their consent to be part of the research project and that the project may process their information.

The Norwegian Center for Research Data (NSD) has assessed that the processing of personal data in this project is in accordance with current Danish and Norwegian personal data legislation (GDPR).

Everyone who works with the investigation has a duty of confidentiality and all information will be treated confidentially. The results of the survey will be communicated in such a way that your anonymity is preserved. Personal information that is either directly or indirectly identifying will be deleted or rewritten at the end of the project, at the latest by the end of 2024.
