The Uttar Pradesh government has made a loan waiver scheme to give relief to the farmers. For this scheme, the state government is preparing a list of farmers, in which the list of farmers' loan waiver will be in the list applied by the farmers. In this, the loans of those farmers whose names will appear in the list will be waived off.

Under this scheme, the state government will waive loans up to one lakh for small and marginal farmers of Uttar Pradesh. At least 86 lakh farmers are expected to benefit under this scheme. The state government has started this scheme for such farmers who do not have more than 5 acres of land and find it difficult to repay the loan. Any farmer who wants to get rid of his debt can apply through this app.
