hard about ways to make its study easier, and this text is the result of our endeavors. The
app provides accurate definitions of terms, definitions of major quantities, and a number of
relations including specification of the conditions under which they are valid. It also contains
a number of schematic figures and examples that clarify the accompanying text. The reader
will not find any derivations in this app, although frequent references are made to the initial
formulas from which the respective relations are obtained.
The Physical Chemistry is located on the border between physics and chemistry, and is concerned both with the study of chemical processes occurring in physical symptoms as well as the influence of physical effects on chemical processes. Physical chemistry is therefore a branch of chemistry dealing with the physical properties of chemical substances, and the the application of physics to processes and phenomena in chemical systems.
Physical chemistry is in addition to the inorganic and organic chemistry one of the classic sections of this scientific subject area. It includes a number of other disciplines, of which the theoretical chemistry, thermodynamics (chemical thermodynamics) and thermochemistry, kinetics, electrochemistry and spectroscopy are just a few. In addition, physicochemical data, physicochemical aspects and issues play a role in many other areas of chemistry and other subjects. A particularly close relationship between chemistry and physics is at issues dealing with the atoms and molecules.
