戦火によってあまたの同胞を失ってしまったエルフ族、ドラゴン族は、その表舞台から姿を消し、その他の種族も戦争によるあまりにも大きな対価を払いきれず前線から次々と去って行った……。
こうして戦乱の世は終わりを告げた。
――しかし突然にそれは起きた。
人間族の帝国各地でアンデッドが大量発生、次々と人間を虐殺し始めた。
アンデッドは不死の軍団を形成して、人間族が絶滅するかに見えたとき、残された強者たちが立ち上がった。
こうして両者の最終戦争の火蓋は切って落とされた……。
