Rádio Pampa FM 97.5

Rádio Pampa FM is a Brazilian radio station headquartered in Porto Alegre, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It operates on FM, on the 97.5 MHz frequency. It belongs to Rede Pampa de Comunicação, and broadcasts journalistic programming. Its studios are located in the Teresópolis neighborhood, in the south of Porto Alegre, next to the other stations of the group. Its transmitters are located in Morro da Polícia.

Rádio Pampa was inaugurated on August 13, 1960, by Ernani Behs and Hamilton Muniz da Rocha, on frequency 1210 kHz [1]. It was purchased by businessman Otávio Dumit Gadret in November 1971[2]. The station had a young profile, competing for audience with young radio stations in Porto Alegre. In 1977, it switched to the 970 kHz frequency, previously occupied by Rádio Caiçara.
