Easy Smart Metal Detector

A cool utility application that can be used everyday for finding nearby metals. The application utilizes the magnetic sensor that is built-in your mobile device and shows magnetic field level in μT (micro tesla).

For information, the magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49 μT (micro tesla) or 490 mG (milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG.

If any metal is near and you want to find it, just open the app and start following the intensity of the field that will be displayed on the screen.

Using the application is as simple as it can get: Just launch this application on your mobile device and start the measuring. Now move the phone around and you will start seeing that the magnetic field level shown on the screen fluctuating. Colorful bar lines represents the intensity of the magnetic field and the numbers on top will show the value of magnetic field level (EMF). As you get closer to the magnet, the colors of the bars will change according to the intensity.

The accuracy of reading of the app depends entirely on the sensor of your mobile device.

NOTE: Due to electromagnetic waves of different electronic equipment, the magnetic sensor's readings may get affected.

INFORMATION: Easy Smart Metal Detector can not be used to detect gold, silver, copper-made coins and other non-ferrous objects because they have no magnetic field.

ATTENTION! They app will not work if your mobile device does not possess a built-in magnetic field sensor as not every model of smartphone has the sensor.
