Hi-Fi Cast

Hi-Fi Cast is a music player that emphazises ease of use, reliable playback and audio quality.

Key Features:
• The only app in the Play Store to feature gapless playback of MP3, AAC, FLAC and WAV files when playing to Chromecast devices (enable this feature via Settings > Playback)*
• And of course if does gapless playback when playing directly to your phone or tablet
• Plays music stored on DLNA/UPnP media servers or your android device.
• Shuffle entire library and/or any combination of albums, artists, genres etc regardless of size of music library (when using DLNA/UPnP, requires a server that supports searching - most do).
• Easy to use and family friendly. Once set up there is no need to select a media server or Chromecast device. Hi-Fi cast will connect to them automatically as soon as the play button is hit.
• Search your music collection for Albums, Artists and Songs (requires your UPnP/DLNA server to support searching)
• Automatically reconnects to your selected Cast device (so no more having to manually select your Chromecast device whenever you want to play music!)
• Hi-Fi cast knows the capabilities of your Chromecast device and can skip over tracks that your device cannot play (This feature is off by default. You can enable it via playback settings).

Audiophile Features:
• Gapless playback of MP3, AAC, WAV and FLAC files to Chromecast devices (Enable this feature via settings).
• Designed for the largest (and smallest) music collections. Effortlessly scroll though thousands of albums, artists or songs at a time. Limited only by the capabilities of your media server.
• You can combine Hi-Fi Cast with a Chromecast Audio and outboard DAC for incredibly affordable audiophile sound quality.
• Access your album booklets from within the app when using Minimserver as your Media Server.

* Note: gapless playback via Chromecast Audio and 'New' Chromecast devices is limited to WAV and FLAC files up to 24bit/96kHz and gapless compatible MP3 and AAC files. Gapless playback via the 'Original' Chromecast is limited to 16bit WAV and FLAC files and gapless compatible MP3 and AAC files.
