1. Smart OTP service information
1) What is Smart OTP?
It is a security media service that generates OTP password by tagging Shinhan Smart KEY card (Smart OTP) on a smartphone.

2) Target customers
Personal banking customers (including individual business owners)

3) Smart OTP issuance information
Apply for Shinhan Smart KEY card issuance at Shinhan Bank branches
(Identification cannot be brought, agent issuance is not allowed)

4) Shinhan Smart KEY Card Contact Terminal Information
NFC-enabled, USIM-equipped Android smartphone with stored mobile phone number
-You can immediately check the availability after installing this app
※IPhone, iPad, tablet PC not available

2. Service screen guide
1) Automatic transmission of OTP password and manual input
You can create an OTP password (one-time password) using the Shinhan Smart KEY card, and directly enter and auto-enter settings on the Internet/mobile banking screen.
(Auto/manual input settings can be set on the Internet/Mobile Banking Smart OTP input screen.)

2) Display OTP password
If there is an OTP input window, it is used to directly view and enter the OTP password in phone banking or shopping mall real-time account transfer payment.

3) Registration of authentication phone
Shinhan Smart KEY card can be used after registering as an authentication phone by designating one contact terminal.
●Authentication phone registration procedure
First, ShinhanBank Smart OTP app is installed
① Check the one-time password required to register the authentication phone issued when issuing a new Shinhan Smart KEY card
(One-time password is valid for three business days.)
② Shinhan Smart OTP exclusive app> Menu> Smart OTP management> Register authentication phone
③ Enter authentication phone registration password
④ Shinhan Smart KEY card tagging
⑤ Registration of authentication phone completed

4) How to generate OTP password
If you request an OTP password for banking on the Shinhan Banking site, you must use the Shinhan Smart OTP exclusive app.

●In case of OTP automatic reception setting
① Smart phone NFC (read/write mode) ON status check
② Shinhan smart KEY card smart phone tagging
③ Run Shinhan Smart OTP exclusive app
④ Main Menu> Shinhan Smart Key Card Tagging
⑤ Check transaction details
⑥ OTP password input completed

●For OTP manual input/ OTP password display setting
① Smart phone NFC (read/write mode) ON status check
② Shinhan smart KEY card smart phone tagging
③ Run Shinhan Smart OTP exclusive app
④ Main Menu> Shinhan Smart Key Card Tagging
⑤ OTP password input creation (floating UI)

5) Authentication phone device change (can be changed in the dedicated app)
● Procedure for changing the authentication phone device
① ShinhanOTP exclusive app> Menu> Smart OTP management> Change authentication phone device
② Proceed with identification process (date of birth/withdrawal account number/account password)
③ SMS authentication procedure in progress
④ Shinhan Smart KEY card tagging
⑤ Completed change of authentication phone device

6) Authentication phone phone change (visiting branch office menu)
When changing the smartphone phone number, you must visit the nearest Shinhan Bank branch and change the authentication phone number registered on the Shinhan Smart KEY card before using it.
※ Shinhan Smart KEY card, be sure to bring a new authentication phone to register
●Authentication phone phone change procedure
① ShinhanOTP exclusive app> Menu> Smart OTP management> Authentication phone phone number change
② Enter the password issued by the bank (processed within 6 minutes after issuance)
③ Card tagging
④ Phone number completed

7) Initialization of OPIN error (use menu for visiting branches)
If the OPIN error is initialized, you must visit the nearest Shinhan Bank branch and unlock the locked Shinhan Smart KEY card before using it.
※ Shinhan Smart KEY card, be sure to bring a new authentication phone to register
●OPIN error initialization procedure
① ShinhanOTP exclusive app> Menu> Smart OTP management> OPIN error initialization
② Enter the password issued by the bank (processed within 6 minutes after issuance)
③ Card tagging
④ Completed OPIN initialization

To use Shinhan Bank Smart OTP version 1.0.6 or later, the following access rights are required.

(Required) phone
Access is required for phone status and ID verification.

(Required) storage space
Access is required to save the routing check engine.

*You can use the ShinhanBank Smart OTP service even if you do not agree to the access rights for the above items, but some functions may be restricted.

*You can also set it in Settings> Applications> ShinhanBank Smart OTP> Permissions menu.

* For Android 6.0 or less, there is no required/optional distinction, so you must agree to all permissions during installation to use it normally.
