• How do you play dogfight?
  (Each plays 2 squadrons - German or American) The OBJECT of the game is to "Shoot Down" all of the opponent's planes. In each turn, a player puts his planes "IN FLİGHT", "MOVES" and "DOGFIGHTS" if he can, to "Shoot Down" his opponent's planes. Players alternate turns. Throw the dice to decide who goes first.
• Why do they call it dogfight?
  Etymology. The term dogfight has been used for centuries to describe a melee: a fierce, fast-paced close quarters battle between two or more opponents. The term gained popularity during World War II, although its origin in air combat can be traced to the latter years of World War I.
