COOPERATIVA GANADERA EL PRONUNCIAMIENTO LTDA.

On September 22, 1951, an assembly was held at the "Lucienville" Livestock Producers Library, provisionally chaired by David Merener. At that meeting, the attendees mostly agreed on the convenience of organizing a cooperative, as the appropriate tool for marketing production.
That same day the conformation of the Cooperative was agreed, which they called "The Pronouncement" in homage to the centenary of the Pronouncement of Urquiza, which was being commemorated that year.
From that year on, different events forged the cooperative's prosperity: on the one hand, the construction of pens, the installation of a veterinary medicine, the purchase of real estate; on the other, the special auctions of quality breeders and bellies, and the Annual Contest of Finished Cattle, which are currently being carried out.
Years later, the Expo Campo Basavilbaso is added, providing a meeting point between the countryside and the city. Over the years, in addition, the cooperative knew how to mold itself to the different political-economic scenarios that have characterized the history of our country, which allowed them to continue with the livestock business and boost the production of its members through the cooperative values.
