My Date Spice

Datespice is a repository of both community suggested and curated date ideas with tools to navigate and filter those ideas to best suit the user. With thousands of personalized and engaging ideas the user will be able to find inspiration for new dates and look back on old ones while feeling connected and understood.

Inspire

Users will be able to suggest date ideas to the app. If approved the date will be added to the database and the submitter will receive credit with their name displayed clearly.

Users will also be able to share, to the community, photos and stories from past dates. These will appear on the “Community” page as well as to any followers.

Invite Cards

Users will be able to use and share dates suggested to them with our invite card feature. They can leave the date idea as it is or edit the text. Users will also be able to create new invite cards using their own ideas.

Users will be able to personalize each card, using editing tools (backgrounds, frames, emojis etc.) to imprint their creativity and ownership onto their ideas.

Explore

Every date idea is designed to fit a mood (e.g. Lazy, Active, Creative, Romantic). In addition to the mood filter, there will be a search by keyword option, as well as direct categories for specifically “Cheap” and “Stay-at-Home” date ideas. Datespice will also provide users the physical locations of dates near them on a map of their current location or a location of their choosing. Date posts can be tagged with locations to appear on the map.

Book Date/Activity

Users will be able to book an activity through the app. Information on bookings will be stored to improve future date suggestions.
