SISCORAR

Mobile device version of the Tidal Current Forecast System in Águas Rasas (SISCORAR).

The application brings several innovations, such as:

.Use of the application completely offline;
It is possible to generate a forecast for any date in the past and in the future
between January 1, 1500 and December 31, 2500;
.Has views in day mode and night mode;
Chains are displayed in motion and not just in a static way;
It is possible to increase and decrease the speed of the moving currents;
It is possible to increase and decrease the thickness of the moving currents;
.Allows you to get the position using the device's GPS;
It is possible to view the map in reverse.

This application is able to predict the intensity and direction of the current generated by the astronomical tide in shallow waters for the geographical area comprised by the Guanabara Bay and its surroundings, in Rio de Janeiro.

Developed by the Oceanographic Modeling and Observation Network (REMO) team through a cooperation agreement between the Navy Hydrography Center (CHM) and Petrobras, the application allows the user to interactively access information about tidal currents , intuitive and friendly.
