Thousand Acres will retain the quiet residential character that is the signature of its unique heritage. Having the largest wetlands in the Deep Creek area , conservation easements are already in place preserving nearly 20 percent of green space within each planned phase of development. The golf course will also be deeded in perpetuity as green space. This provides not only a visual green cover, but also allows for plenty of hiking, biking and cross-country ski trails.
