The publisher of the application is the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
🇵🇱 ​​Only people with Polish citizenship and a valid ID card can use the mObywatel service.

❗🛑 Remember! mObywatel does not ask and has never asked to take a photo of his ID card! Download the application only from the Google Play store.

The application is not available for devices whose firmware has been modified (root, changed bootloader, custom rom, other modifications), with potentially dangerous software and hiding root privileges.

Thanks to the application:

👉 you carry out e-prescriptions without entering your PESEL number,
👉 you confirm the driver's permission,
👉 you check penalty points,< br/>👉 you show car details,
👉 you use mLegitymacji,
👉 you travel with UCC,

How to activate the application?
• Create a trusted profile, go (on your computer) to: https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/zaloz-profil-zaufany
• Disable software that interrupts sessions when switching between applications (eg "battery savers", system optimization programs, energy saving mode, etc.).
• Launch the application.
• Please read the information provided.
• Select "Add your first document" - on the list, indicate eg mObywatel.
• Confirm that "You are you" using:
- trusted profile,
- eID and eDO App,
- bank.
• If you want to run mLegitymacja, download the code at school / university (scan it by selecting mLegitymacja from the list of documents).

Document mObywatel
A simple way to identify yourself (provide data). Where? Almost everywhere - e.g. on trains, during elections, when setting up loyalty cards, when collecting a registered letter at the post office, at the gym, in a store, at the reception desk, at the clinic, at other services.
You will not use mCitizen in a situation where the law requires the presentation of an identity card or passport (e.g. in certain situations at a bank, at the airport, at a notary public, when registering a SIM card, during some official activities ).

Biometrics

Data security. The information stored in the phone is encrypted and signed with a certificate. Access is secured with a password that you set when activating the application.
