Ramadan is also the month of the Qur'an, because in the month of Ramadan, the Qur'an was revealed to the sky from the Plate of Destiny. All the other holy books, such as the Bible, the Psalms, and the Torah, were revealed this month. Therefore, during this month, Muslims read the word of God more individually and try to recite the entire Qur'an during the night prayers.



But most of all, the month of Ramadan is known for fasting. For Muslims, fasting is not a "diet", but a complete abstinence from food and drink during the day, excessive talk (as well as sexual intercourse). Fasting is obligatory for every Muslim, but there are cases when it can be violated for a specific reason. An important part of Islam is fasting, which is an inalienable pillar of our religion.
