Too good for the bin! presents the best recipes for the creative rest kitchen. With recipes from Sarah Wiener, Tim Mälzer, Daniel Brühl and many other cook godparents. The app is a free offer of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).
 
The app was nominated for the Federal Ecodesign Award 2014 and the Digital Communication Award 2013.
 
We throw away every eighth food we buy. You can change that - with this app. It offers recipes for creative rest food from star chefs and other celebrity chefs. Their cooking ideas reinterpret classics like the Poor Knight, create something new unexpectedly or conjure up smart side dishes with just a few ingredients. The recipes motivate you to re-cook and inspire your own creations with the leftovers at home.
 
In addition, there is a shopping list for your favorite recipes and a shopping planner that remembers ingredients and quantities and provides an overview in the next purchase - and helps to save time and ways. An extensive food dictionary informs about their storage and durability. Golden rules show how easy it is to avoid food waste.
