Karel is the ideal application for information on the Port of Cagliari. Designed for travelers arriving or departing, offers content designed specifically to meet the common needs of those arriving in Cagliari

The application requires an internet connection to download data at the first start and updating, as well as the application Layar installed correctly.

The Port section presents, among others, the following contents:

- Entrance to the Port
- Parking
- Transport
- Rental
- Maritime Station (Ticket - Infopoint - Toilet - Luggage)
- Customs
- Border Police
- Harbour
- Arrival / departure (freight operators - Operators passengers - Times of arrivals / departures)
- The city (Where to Eat - Where to Stay)

The Utilities section presents addresses and phone numbers available offline as well (Police - Police - Fire - First Aid)

The Info section displays information about roads and traffic, delays of ships, news and events in the port area

Map is provided in the application of the port that highlights all the services. Through activation of the GPS, you can see the path to the destination of your location.

Augmented Reality instead allows, through the display on the screen what the camera lens sees smartphone, overlay icons that represent the points of interest located in the harbor. Clicking on an icon, you see the information pertaining to the point of interest and a picture about. You can also view the route to follow to reach the point of interest selected.
