Let's learn to pray
Namaz (Arabic: صلاة; sala, plural صلوات salawat, Persian: نماز namaz) is a dictionary word meaning "to pray", "to pray well". Allaah says in the Qur'aan, “Pray to them. Your prayer is a mercy to them ”(Tawba, 9/103). According to the Shari'a, prayer is a wonderful act of worship that begins with takbir and ends with salaam, consisting of special actions and words. Prayer was also obligatory in the pre-Islamic divine religions. Before the five daily prayers were prescribed for the Prophet Muhammad, he prayed only twice in the morning and in the evening. Then, on the night of the Migration, five daily prayers became obligatory. The obligation of prayer is determined by the Qur'an, the Sunnah and the evidence of ijma '. In many places in the Qur'an, he says, "Pray and pay alms," meaning that prayer is a very important duty. Some of them are: "Observe all prayers and the middle prayer" (al-Baqarah 2: 238). "Indeed, prayer has been enjoined at the appointed times" (Nisa, 103). "However, they were commanded to abstain from all false religions, and to worship Allah sincerely, and to perform the prayer, and to pay alms" (al-Bayyinah, 5). "Perform the prayer in full ..." (Hajj, verse 78).
There is a deep wisdom in the five daily prayers. For example, the morning prayer is reminiscent of a newborn baby. The bright morning symbolizes the purity of the baby, the newly awakened birds symbolize the sweetness of the baby, the beautiful peace and tranquility. Also, the five daily prayers are like a man in his forties, sharp as a sword coming out of his vagina. The setting of the sun to the west during prayer reminds us of the time when human life turned eighty, with a walking stick, going to the fourth world called the grave, and the last chapter of the book of life is coming to an end. As for the evening prayer, the human being has passed through this life, and the image stands at the head of his grave and asks, "What have you done for the sake of Allah, and what immortality have you left behind?" imagines a situation in which he is questioning himself. And the time of the evening prayer, when it was dark and quiet, is reminiscent of the world of the unknown grave. This is how every Muslim who thinks like this will always bow down to the Almighty and step into the Hereafter.
