With a musical and informative program, Rádio Difusora began broadcasting in April 1993 on the AM 650 frequency.

Two years later, in 1995, the station changed its name, being called Radio Mundial. At the time, the highlight was ethnic programs, presented by representatives of colonies from different countries, such as: Portuguese, French, German, Armenian, Jewish, Italian, Japanese, etc., always with the aim of disseminating music, customs and culture of each country.
